Aaron and I met working at Chick-fil-A together about 6 years ago! As two talkative people, we instantly hit it off and became good friends. A year or so into our friendship, we realized we liked each other a littttttle more than we thought "friends" should, so we thought we'd see if there was something more there. Unfortunately, it was a classic case of right person, wrong time, and our short-lived romance fizzled out. I went to college that fall and pretty much lost contact with Aaron as we both parted ways and began to build our own lives for ourselves. About a year and a half later, a group of work friends and I went to King's Island, and I was (happily) surprised to see that Aaron was also there, invited by a mutual friend who still worked with me. We reconnected instantly, like no time at all had passed, and spent the day catching up and chatting, with lots of smiles and looks from our friends who knew our past. That night, I received a text from Aaron, and we never really stopped talking after that! We started dating within a few weeks and knew right away that we had a bright future ahead of us. Two and a half years later, Aaron proposed in true Aaron fashion: in our pajamas watching Lord of the Rings. Now, we are loving this stage of life and enjoying every second! We are so incredibly excited for what the Lord has in store for our marriage and the rest of our lives!
