Our Story
where it all began
We met in Fall 2021 during our freshman year of college, hanging out in our freshman year friend group every weekend with each other. Many memories made and fun times had during this sweet time of developing a bond through friendship. In April 2022, Isabel asked Jack to her sorority’s spring formal, fully thinking she was asking a friend. Jack . . . did not. A few weeks later, Jack asked Isabel on what would become the first of many dates. Just two days after that date, Jack headed back to Kansas City for the summer. It soon became daily calls, long facetimes, and conversations about everything. When we returned back to Omaha that fall, things picked up right where they left off. After a Taco Co. date (and meeting Isabel’s mom and sister - ask us about this one for a funny story!), Jack asked Isabel to be his girlfriend.
the proposal
After lots of careful planning, Jack popped the question . . . and Isabel said yes! He created a day that felt perfectly “us,” complete with a surprise visit from Isabel’s family, who traveled in just for the occasion. Being able to celebrate with our families and the people we love most made the day unforgettable. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Kansas City!
