Our Story
Myra and Matthew first met in 6th grade. After some back and forth over all of middle school, Matthew finally asked Myra out (and she said no). They reconnected their sophomore year of high school, as friends. Junior year, after a game of 8 ball (who initiated is still up for debate), Matthew FINALLY asked Myra out (she actually said yes this time). They went to Izumi for sushi, which became one of their favorite date night spots. The two of them stayed together for the remainder of high school and even weathered 4 years of long distance while Myra was in college in Alabama. Once Myra graduated, she went back to Woodstock to be with Matthew and the couple moved into their first apartment together! In December of 2022, Myra and Matthew went to visit Myra's parents in Sarasota and he asked her to marry him with the most beautiful set up on the beach at sunset. The couple will be getting married on their 8 year anniversary!
