On a crisp November day in 2024, Veterans Day to be exact, our thumbs made the fateful decision to swipe right. Neither of us knew what was to come from messaging a complete stranger, besides awkward small talk and avoiding eye contact, but it seemed as though our connection was out of the ordinary. Our first date had our nervous systems running high, but by our second date we both knew that we would be with each other forever. Now you may be wondering where our second date was and how we each made this very big internal decision. It was at a Waffle House. Brandon got some sort of egg scramble bowl and Erin got a Waffle with (A LOT of) chocolate chips and bacon. After we were finished, Erin started dancing/skipping to the car and Brandon followed suit.
