FAQs

The Wedding Website of Serena Kate Joyner and Caleb Coleman Hamlett
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to share this day with our nearest and dearest! Your invitation will list all the names of those we’ve reserved a seat (and slice of cake!) for. If it includes “and guest," or a specific name, we can’t wait to welcome them too—otherwise, we’re thrilled to party with just you.

Question

Will kids be allowed at this event?

Answer

While we adore all the tiny humans in our lives, our wedding will be a grown-ups-only occasion. We hope you’ll take this as a chance to dress up, sip something bubbly, and dance the night away with us.

Question

Do yall have a registry?

Answer

We sure do! While your dance moves are truly the greatest gift, if you’d like to help us stock our home (and maybe fund a few adventures), our registry can be found under the registry header above. Fair warning: it’s a mix of grown-up essentials and “we definitely don’t need this, but it’s fun” splurges.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes—think all black everything. We’re channeling our inner Johnny Cash for the night. Formality isn’t a big deal—whether you’re rocking a suit, cocktail dress, or something more relaxed, as long as it’s all black, you’re golden. Guys, feel free to wear a white shirt under those suits. And fellas, if you got this invite, don’t be the reason your girl is side-eyeing you in photos. Make sure your date knows the vibe so she doesn’t show up in color wondering why you left out that tiny (very important) detail.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 21st, 2026—or risk being hunted down via text, carrier pigeon, or smoke signal. We need a headcount for food, drinks, and epic dance-floor planning, so don’t leave us hanging!

Question

How is the parking situation?

Answer

We’ve got you covered—our venue has a big, easy lot with plenty of space. Roll in, park like the VIP you are, and make your grand entrance ready for a night of fun, dancing, and celebration!

Question

What should I expect day-of?

Answer

- The ceremony will begin at 4 pm. Just remember, to the future Mr. and Mrs. Hamlett, 15 minutes early is on time. - This will be an indoor ceremony and reception. Cocktail hour will be held outside (don't worry, there are heaters!) - The venue is Charlotte adjacent, and the weather can be temperamental. If you want to bring a larger jacket just in case (better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it), you will have close/easy access to your cars! -Unplugged Ceremony: This one’s important—please leave phones and cameras in your pocket or bag during the ceremony. We’ve got a pro capturing every magical moment, and we promise the photo gallery will be worth the wait.
