How are you responding to COVID-19?

Answer

We are continuing to closely monitor guidelines and recommendations during this (unpredictable) time. We are being very intentional in planning and structuring our celebration to be mindful of social distancing policies. Please see the "COVID-19" section of our website for more information. As the time gets closer, we will send out final details to all of our guests about COVID precautions. Please do not hesitate to reach out directly to Michelle or Kyle with any questions, concerns, or requests!

I'm not sure how to RSVP because COVID is always changing...

Answer

This we totally understand and empathize with! It's hard to know, but we ask that you RSVP assuming that COVID guidelines/restrictions are going to be similar in October to how they are currently. Your RSVP is very important, and we request that you let us know as soon as possible either way (especially if there are any changes)! Because of social distancing, it is extra important that we have an accurate count of how many guests will be attending in advance.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you already know that you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing “No,” so we can plan accordingly. We will be streaming our wedding ceremony, so hopefully you'll still be able to join us from afar!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our ceremony will be outside in a grassy, wooded area (pending weather), and our reception will be indoor. Keep in mind that it will be late October, so a light jacket or shawl may be handy!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Bold Rock is approximately 45 minutes from Charlottesville and 15 minutes from Wintergreen Resort. Parking is available at the venue. Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible. Please refer to the "Travel" tab for details about the shuttle transportation option to/from Charlottesville.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please arrive between 4:30 - 4:45 to make sure that everyone is on time so we can get the party started as scheduled!
