What's the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is cocktail attire. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn, so we recommend comfortable shoes for walking on grass (block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are great options). The reception will be held indoors with the option of being outside on the porch, so layers are a good idea in case the temperature changes throughout the evening. Think semi-formal: suits or dress shirts with slacks for men, and cocktail dresses for women. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive?

A shuttle will be available for any guests staying in Charlottesville with a departure time from The Graduate Hotel at 4:30 PM. If you choose a separate mode of transportation, we ask that you arrive at the winery no later than 5:30 PM.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn. The reception will be held indoors with the option of being outside on the back porch overlooking the nearby mountains and vineyards.

Can I take pictures with my phone?
Answer
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment—and we’ve got it covered! Our professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share the photos with you afterward.

Can I bring a date or a plus-one?
Answer
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional plus-ones. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to see you there!

Is this a kid-friendly or pet-friendly wedding?

We love your little ones and furry friends, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration and pet-free. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and celebrate with us!

Will I be able to Uber/Lyft? What other transportation options do I have?
Answer
Uber and Lyft will likely not pick up at Veritas, but we will have a free shuttle to and from the venue. If you don't plan on taking the shuttle, please ensure you have a designated driver. There is parking on the premises.
