We kindly request that you RSVP on our wedding website so that we don't miss your request to join us! If you follow this link you will be able to enter your information online. Please RSVP no later than April 30, 2026.
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand and can still celebrate with us!
While we wish all of our guests could bring their children, due to limited space, we simply are unable to invite all of them. We hope you will still be able to take the night off and celebrate our wedding with us!
We are asking our guests to wear semi-formal or cocktail attire to our wedding. Ball gowns and tuxedos aren't necessary, but please stay away from jeans, shorts, and casual clothing. This will be the perfect time to dust off that LBD or that suit!
Our ceremony and cocktail house will be outdoors, and our reception will be located inside. Cocktails will be served on a covered patio with fans and outdoor air-conditioning following the ceremony. Indoor restrooms are available onsite.
June in Florida tends to be very warm. Expect temperatures with highs around 85-90 degrees and lows near 70-80 degrees. High humidity is very likely around this time of year, and we may experience a couple of rain showers over the wedding weekend. Don't worry though, rain never lasts long in sunny Florida and we have a backup plan for our outdoor events in case we do see showers!
Doors will open for guests to arrive at 4:30 pm on the day of our wedding. Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm, so we kindly ask that guests arrive no later than 4:50 pm in order to find their seats.
Yes, there is plenty of parking available.
TBD
Yes! We know how important it is to have a good time after the ceremony. We will have an open bar with beer, wine, and liquor options in addition to soft drinks, water, and coffee starting at 5:30 pm.
Our reception will end at 10:00 pm, with the couple's final send-off at 9:50 pm.
You can find our complete registry and honeymoon fund here on our website under the "Registry" tab. You can purchase directly from our wishlist and have the gift delivered directly to us.
While we will have a card box available at the wedding reception, we kindly ask that you do not bring wrapped gifts to the wedding. There will be a lot going on at the reception and we don't want any gifts being misplaced or forgotten at the end of the night! Reach out to Skyler or Ashley for our address if you'd like to ship the gift to our home.
We are planning fun events for our guests throughout our wedding weekend. Check out the "Schedule" tab for details on what is going on June 11 - June 14. Keep in mind, scheduled events may change over the next year, so keep an eye out.
The Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ) airport is the closest airport. Palmetto is a 35 minute drive from SRQ and is easily accessible via taxi or ride share services like Uber and Lyft. Tampa airport (TPA) and St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) airports are further away, but still within a one-hour drive of the hotels. We recommend taking a look at all three airports to compare airlines and pricing that best fits your needs.
We have a hotel block available at the xxxx hotel. While we recommend staying at this hotel, it is not required for our out-of-town guests. Take a look at our travel page for a list of other hotels in the area.
All areas we will be during the wedding weekend are easily accessible via ride share services like Uber and Lyft. If you'd like to explore areas like the beaches, St. Pete, Sarasota, etc. we recommend considering a rental car for the weekend.
If you'd like to attend all of the wedding weekend events, we recommend to flying in during the day of Thursday June 11, 2026 and staying through Monday June 15, 2026. If you'd like to just come down for the wedding that is alright too! If you would like to only attend the wedding we advise to fly in Saturday June 13 and depart Monday June 14.
There are plenty of great restaurants and fun places to shop, check out the beach, and areas to visit around here. Check out our "Things to Do" tab for a list of some of our favorite dining spots and things to do in the area.
The best way to contact the couple is by emailing us at huisman.hall.wedding@gmail.com. Please make sure to ask any and all questions you have before the day of the wedding. Skyler and Ashley will be very busy that day and may not have a chance to answer.
