J.D. and Mindy's story kicked off at a wild fraternity party in Bloomsburg, PA. J.D. had probably just finished a shift at Campus Beer (though let’s be honest, no one’s really sure). After J.D. firmly, but politely asked Mindy to stop dancing on the beer pong table, they hit it off right away. They continued bonding over cheap beer and questionable dance moves, and kept their friendship alive with regular meet-ups at the local bar. After J.D. graduated and left Bloomsburg, they stayed in touch through the occasional text and J.D. persistently asking their mutual friends about Mindy. Clearly, she had made quite an impression on him. When Mindy moved to Philadelphia, she let J.D. know, but mostly ignored his attempts to hang out until fate intervened at a Jimmy Buffet concert. Many, many months later, the stars finally aligned. Both were single, and they went on their first date. Since then, they've been inseparable, proving that sometimes a good bit of persistence and great timing pays off to bring you some of the best things in life.
