Frequently Asked Questions
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting summer formal attire—elevated and elegant, but not as formal as a tuxedo. Please avoid wearing white or similar colors reserved for the bride. We also ask that you refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, sneakers, or hats to maintain the formal dress code.

Question

Are kids welcome? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

This will be an adult-only function, so we kindly ask that you leave the little ones at home. When you RSVP, it will indicate whether a plus one has been included, as we would love to keep the wedding an intimate event with close friends and family.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated for mass by 12:45 PM.

Question

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! We have chosen to do a traditional first look down the aisle and will be taking photos immediately after the ceremony. Please use this break to check into your hotel, catch up with friends, grab a drink, or explore Janesville.

Question

How should I get to the ceremony and reception? Is parking available?

Answer

We ask that you drive to the ceremony at Nativity of Mary, check into your hotel afterward, and then head to the reception using our provided shuttle, an Uber, or by parking overnight in the lot across from the venue. There is ample, free parking available at both the church and the reception venue. Please check the travel tab for more details, including overnight parking options.

Question

When will the shuttle be running?

Answer

The shuttle times are 4:15 PM and 4:45 PM from the Tru by Hilton. Return shuttles will depart at 10:30 PM, 11:00 PM, and 11:30 PM. Guests at TownePlace Suites can easily access the shuttle, as it shares a parking lot with the Tru by Hilton. If you're staying at the Cobblestone, please note it's just a short three-block walk to the reception venue.

Question

What is the alcohol policy?

Answer

A full, open bar will be provided to anyone over the age of 21 for the entire evening. Wisconsin law prohibits outside alcohol, so please leave it at home to keep 10 South’s liquor license safe. Please enjoy the beverages we are providing!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline has passed. Final numbers have now been turned into our vendors and your presence will be missed!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting, with an option to remain indoors if you prefer.

Question

Who should I reach out to if I have a question?

Answer

All questions can be directed to the groom, Alex... LOL. JK. Please text Nikki at 414-881-8317.
