Samantha and I (Marissa) have been best friends since 2007. We've been through hell and back, keeping each other sane...(more like insane) throughout the years. My life would be absolutely colorless without her and her randomness. Her crazy matches my crazy. She given me the honor of being the Godmother to her son, Sebastian. My tiny little tink tink! I honestly could not go through life without having her in it. She is not only my best friend but she is my sister. I know she will always have my back just as I would hers! (I'd fight a spider for her....)

Greg and I (Joseph) met the night after I crashed my car in Germany and Lockhart came in to give me counseling. That was back in 2010. Greg had felt the need to complete a MAKE A WISH Dream Come True for a special Solider that needed love and nurturing and LOTS of guidance. The brother hood had continued long after their separation in Germany. Greg is like the big brother that I never had and I'm grateful for him every day. Through all the dark humor and late night calls, I can count on him to always have my back.

I met Andi through Joe and John, when we started dating. Soon after Joe and I got married, they got married. We practically had a computer friendship for about 9 years. I finally got to physically meet her in 2021 during the 4th of July Party! I was nervous at first but all the nerves went away the moment we started making fun of our husbands. She's quiet but she's always plotting!! Andi is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Heart of Gold! No matter what I'm going through she is always there to help me see sense. She never chooses sides and she's always just been great. She inspires me every day especially when it comes to her three boys! (Our Nephews/Godsons) I hope that I am half the mother she is when we finally get blessed with our own child.

John and I met in basic training in Georgia. Through training we were stationed together in Germany. Long after our separation from the Army, we stayed in contact, of course. John is also like the brother I never had but always had to warn others about, with a smile on my face. Through my recent difficult times John has always checked in with me even in my darkest days and I’m grateful.
Shanna Conigo

I met Shanna in the parking lot of Market Basket with her dad and sister back in 2014 when I first moved out to Massachusetts. Shanna and Joseph are cousins on his mothers side. She was only 16, big smile, and blue hair! I was nervous to meet her seeing that I had not met any of Joe's family just yet once I moved to the East Coast. She asked me so many questions and ragged on Joe like a little sister would. She always made me feel like part of the family. No matter what. In 2017 she asked Joseph and I to be the Godparents of her son, Ryze, who we love and adore, just as much as our other Godsons. Shanna is fierce, stunning, and hard-working! She's amazing through and through and I'm extremely blessed to have her as my family.

I met Josh while my cousin was a roommate in his house. They later started dating and are now engaged. I haven’t known Josh as long as my other buddies but from the time I have known him he’s been a great guy. He can keep up with my dark humor and keeps it going. I'm happy to call him a friend and excited to have him join our family.
