On July 15th 2022, we officially said, “I do,” and it was a perfect day. The only thing that was missing was all of you! Join us for a special vow renewal and night of dancing to commemorate our love and the village that supports us each and every day.

We technically first met online via Skype (yes, pre-Zoom days). Glenn asked me about my experience working in fundraising, my problem solving skills, and how I utilize Excel for data management. I, of course, charmed him with my intellect, wit, and dazzling smile, and one day later I was asked to meet the fam—the NYU fam that is! Fast forward six months later and with a little help from an “amateur comedian” at the Grisly Pear in the West Village, we decided to accept the obvious, and go on our very first date. We might have been the last to know that we were meant to be, but after the summer of 2018 there was no turning back.

It all started on Skype! I interviewed a bright-eyed Laura A. Meyer for an open position on our team at NYU in November of 2017. In my post-interview assessment, I said she was “well-suited” for the role. She crushed the interviews, took the offer, and we ended up working side by side in a sliver of an office for 6 months before we gave in to some bubbling interest in being more than friendly coworkers. Like she always says, “we were either going to hate each other or fall in love in that tiny office.” I’ll forever be grateful it was the latter.
