When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Hotel reservations need to be made by August 30, 2022. But wedding/reception RSVPs will be accepted until September 12th.

Yes.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only accommodate those we have addressed on the invite. But after dinner is served, the more the merrier!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Seating will be available as early as 3:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We can’t wait to dance the night away with them!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Look good, feel good! The dress code for this special occasion is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Keep in mind it will be October and the ceremony will be located outdoors so keep an eye on that Nebraska weather!

Is there a wedding registry? Where?

Answer

We are so lucky to have everything we need. The most important gift to us is having you share in our special day! But if you wish to congratulate us in some other way, we do have a small registry with odds and ends, located on this here wedding website. But ideally we would love a donation to our home renovation fund. No matter the gift, it will be returned with SO much appreciation and gratitude!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We want you to be able to relax and have fun with us on our wedding day! We hired a fantastic wedding photographer named Katlin who will be capturing every important moment for us. With this in mind, please silence or turn off your cell phones. We're happy to share our professional wedding photos later. The greatest gift you can give us, is being fully present with us during this sacred, remarkable occasion. BUT after the ceremony you are more than welcome to help us create memories by taking candid shots and selfies with us! Please make sure to share them with us via text or tagging us on social media.

Is the wedding and reception being held indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside at Stone Creek. Once the ceremony is over, the reception will be held in Stone Creek’s event center. From inside we will have the option to still enjoy the October weather by opening a garage door that opens onto the ceremony space/patio. We will have yard games set out so the party never ends!

Question

Is there Uber or any other forms of transportation after all the celebrating?

Answer

Unfortunately, no Ubers. We want everyone to have a great time but we do ask to PLEASE be responsible, as it is a small jaunt back into York from the venue!
