Our wedding

Scott and Erin are already officially married! We chose to have a private, intimate ceremony together on April 22, 2026. These photos are from our ceremony in Gold Beach, Oregon. We were incredibly lucky with good weather and had fun adventures; hiking on trails in our wedding gear, playing on the beach, and trekking down to a beautiful ocean view for dusk. We honored our love in the way that serves us best to start our marriage. We are looking forward to celebrating in September with you all.

How we met

Scott and Erin first met in 2019 on the beautiful Catalina Island, CA. Erin came to work for the summer at Camp Emerald Bay to work as a scuba diving instructor where Scott had been living and working for years already. A budding romance began against the calm beauty of the West end of Catalina island that continues to grow here in the Santa Monica Mountains. Erin moved to Sacramento just two months later after her seasonal position at camp ended. Scott and Erin worked together to maintain a long distance relationship that led into the pandemic. Erin and Scott love the outdoors and used the time during quarantine to explore California. They both transitioned professionally and were able to move in together in Agoura Hills. Erin and Scott enjoy many outdoor activities together. They intentionally travel to destinations with elite dive possibilities such as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and Komodo National Park in Indonesia. They take advantage of the beautiful state they live in by spending time camping at the beach to surf and by visiting the desert for rivers and natural springs. In the winter Erin and Scott enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snow shoeing, but would like to get in the snow more often. They also stay active by dancing. Movement, dancing and expression are central to their lives and routine. The family would not be complete without their small white terrier Lucy. Since adopting Lucy in 2024 she has represented more than love for the newlyweds. The couple enjoys entertaining and celebrating friends, family and the natural world around them. They look forward to celebrating with you outdoors so close to their home. Sharing gratitude, food and smiles drives Erin and Scott. We hope you enjoy our wedding reception and have an incredible year!
