Question

Do I need a visa to attend the wedding in Rosarito?Do I need a visa to attend the wedding in Rosarito?

Answer

No, a visa is not required to attend our wedding in Mexico if you are entering as a tourist. We understand that recent discussions have led to some confusion about travel requirements. For U.S. citizens and most visitors from visa-exempt countries, short-term stays in Mexico do not necessitate a visa. Typically, tourists are permitted to remain for up to 180 days; should your visit exceed this period, a visa or alternate permit would be necessary. Additionally, if you are flying, much of the required documentation is processed automatically. For any further inquiries, please consult your local Mexican consulate or refer to the U.S. Department of State’s travel information for Mexico.

Question

Why Are There Two Celebrations? Why Are There Two Celebrations?

Answer

We wanted to celebrate with everyone who holds a special place in our hearts. Our wedding ceremony will take place in Rosarito, Mexico, where Juan’s brother (and best man) lives. Since we know not everyone can travel, we’re also hosting a celebration in Fillmore, California to share this special moment with family and friends who couldn’t make it to Mexico. Each event is meaningful to us, and we’re excited to celebrate with you—whether at one or both!

Question

Why Do Some Guests Have Accommodations at the Villa? Why Do Some Guests Have Accommodations at the Villa?

Answer

Villa del Paraiso has limited space, so we reserved accommodations for immediate family and select wedding arrangements. While we would love to host everyone, we’ve ensured that nearby hotels provide a comfortable and convenient stay for our guests. We deeply appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together! For hotel recommendations, check your invitation or reach out—we’re happy to help!
