We'll be sending out our invitations via mail about three months before the wedding. Please RSVP by May 31st, 2025.
Formal attire. The theme of our wedding is an elevated summer garden party. Ladies, this is your time to wear flowing sundresses or jumpsuits, pastels (other than baby blue, please), floral prints, or whatever summer garden party means to you. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit paired with crisp button-down shirts and optional ties. Given the heat, you may consider wearing lighter-weight or linen suits if you own one. Please note, while our ceremony will not be in a shaded area, we will have small sun umbrellas available for guests to use if they want some shade during our ceremony!
Yes! We will be providing round-trip Shuttle Bus transportation from Picton, Bloomfield, and Wellington areas to the venue on our Wedding Day. We will run buses each way to ensure you can easily arrive at the wedding and safely arrive home following the celebration.
To keep our celebration as intimate as possible, we are only inviting the individuals mentioned on your invitation.
We have organized an optional welcome event for all guests to kick off our wedding weekend on Friday, July 11th. It's scheduled from 7:00pm - 9:00pm EST at Traynor Family Vineyard (1774 Danforth Rd, Hillier, ON K0K 2J0). We hope you can make it! There will be small bites and drinks available for everyone to enjoy.
As much as we adore your little ones and babies, we will not be including them in the wedding weekend.
We have organized our recommendations for places to stay in the County on the "Where to Stay" page of this website. However, the most cost-effective and comfortable options we have viewed are on Airbnb and Vrbo, in the Wellington and Picton areas of Prince Edward County. We have also included recommendations for various hotels.
July in Prince Edward County offers warm and pleasant summer weather with temperatures ranging from 15-27°C. The month features mostly sunny skies, moderate humidity, and occasional heat waves, creating the perfect conditions for our special day, outdoor activities, and beach visits.
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.
Wear what you are the most comfortable in. For the ladies, please be aware that an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour means that stilettos will fall through the grass. We suggest wearing chunky heels or sandals. Feel free to bring a change of comfortable footwear to dance in!
For those who are driving, there is plenty of free parking at The Brighthouse Farm.
Our wedding will be filmed by our videographer and captured by our photographer. We can't wait to share these moments with all guests and those who can't attend in person.
We'll be collecting information about dietary restrictions when we send out our official wedding invitations.
For any additional questions leading up to our big day, please feel free to contact Melissa at 519-854-9023 or Michael at 519-857-5585.
