How They Met Alison and Kevin’s story began in 2006 at St. Jean Brebeuf Elementary, where they were classmates. While they were always friendly, their bond didn’t go beyond schoolmates—she called him “Kevin G,” and they didn’t think much of each other. Though they went to different high schools, they stayed in touch and their friendship quietly deepened over the years. The Turning Point In 2013, on New Year’s Eve, they shared their first kiss at midnight. It didn’t spark romance immediately, but it was the beginning of something more. The real shift came in 2015 when Kevin asked Alison to join him on a spontaneous road trip to London. The drive, complete with country music and easy conversation, felt like something out of a romcom. By the end, they both knew something had changed. They officially started dating in September 2015, and their love story took off from there. The Proposal In August 2022, Kevin took Alison to Poland, his home country. In Gdańsk, on their final night, they crossed a glowing bridge with Kevin’s family. He suggested a photo—unusual for him—and in that moment, Alison knew something was up. After the photo, Kevin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Surrounded by family and the city lights, Alison, overwhelmed with joy, said yes.
