We're getting married!

Maia & Kody’s story started back in high school, where a familiar hallway turned into something unforgettable. At a home basketball game—packed gym, bright lights, and all—Kody did the bravest thing imaginable: he asked Maia to the formal dance in front of the entire crowd. What began as a big, bold moment quickly became something real. About a month later, just before the world changed with the global COVID pandemic, they officially started dating. While everything around them felt uncertain, one thing never did—they found comfort, laughter, and steadiness in each other. What could have been a challenging beginning only brought them closer. Over the past six years, they’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. They fell in love with camping trips, road trips, and spending time in Tennessee—one of their favorite places to explore together. Along the way, they added two very important members to their family: their dogs, Comet and Clarice, who keep life entertaining and their hearts full. On the 4th of July, surrounded by family, Kody proposed, turning an already meaningful day into one they’ll cherish forever. From a high school gymnasium to building a life together, their journey has been filled with love, growth, and so many memories—and they can’t wait to start this next chapter as husband and wife. ❤️
