Matron of Honor
Bride’s aunt. Sarah and I met in 2009 at a Lexington Catholic football game where her uncle introduced me to his family. For the last 13 years, Sarah has been a part of so many of my best memories. I am proud of the funny, independent, beautiful woman that she has become. Honored doesn’t begin to describe how I feel about standing next to Sarah on her big day.
Best Man
Charlie and I met playing soccer at the YMCA when we were four years old and the rest is history…
Maid of Honor
My first interaction with the bride was after I was born and she wanted to name me “grumpy head.” Having Sarah as a big sister allowed Savannah and I to have someone to pave the way so we wouldn’t get lost along the way. She has such a bright future and I cannot wait to have Charro join the family (and another doctor to help answer my many questions). I’m so excited to stand awkwardly by Sarah and share in this magical day!

Charlie and I met at Dunbar and spent six years as roommates at Centre College and at UK

Hi I’m Savannah and I know Sarah because we have the same parents and I’m just here now?

Mr. Charles Gary Grigsby III, M.D. and I met during freshman year at Centre College. The first time I saw him, a skinny, unusually late Chuck was hopping over a fence at the football field for the Centre Baseball conditioning test that fall. From there, we spent many, many hours together dealing with rigorous academics, occasional bouts of fun extracurriculars, and being roommates. Luckily, I became fortunate enough to call him one of my best friends, and he is certainly one of the best human beings I will ever know! Ask me how to pester Charlie at the wedding.

Sarah and I met at Centre-many Theta formals & Applebee’s dates later, we continued our escapades all over the country, where we made many amazing memories (and unique acquaintances). While we’ve always loved pretending we’re cousins/sisters/twins, Sarah apparently looks more like me than I do (which was made clear when people consistently believe she’s my parents’ child instead of me when we’re traveling together)-but there’s nobody I would rather be than Sarah Hutchinson

We blood.

I met Sarah when we were both on the cheerleading team at Centre. (Go Colonels!) She was funny, driven, and kind and we became fast friends. I am so happy that I get the chance to cheer her on in this new phase of her life!

I met Sarah in 2015 on Centre’s cheerleading team. Since then, I couldn’t stay away from her! For the past 8 years, we’ve spent hours going between Lou and Lex to spend time together. She’s thoughtful, hilarious, and everything you could want in a best friend.

Sarah and I met through friends, but it wasn’t until we spent hours at Corto Lima talking and laughing over margs that we became best friends!

Sarah and I first met sophomore year in a philosophy class at Centre College! Since then, I have been beyond thankful for years of medical discussions, laughter, insight, and incredible friendship!

Where did I meet Sir Charles “hip hip” Grigsbayyy? I met this kind hearted soul at Centre College during the fall semester of 2012. A mutual friend, William Fister, introduced us at his dormitory along with fellow Dunbar alum, Steven Shunk. These fine KY gentleman were providing me with an introduction to Kentucky social customs and beverages as we talked about the upcoming baseball season and our excitement for the year’s academic calendar. Charlie went on to become one of my best friends. He is someone I can, and have, told anything and everything to. From questions about my broken bones, to skateboarding videos, to reliving old Centre memories & endless hypothetical bits, I could not have asked for a better friend and a better example of what a man is. I’m elated to be a part of his life and I look forward to seeing the love he has for Sarah blossom and grow in their marriage. I hope Charlie manages to keep his eyes open for the wedding photos. Here is to Squints! Much love and congratulations.
