When we started planning our wedding, we knew there was one place that held a deep significance for us—Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's not just a stunning backdrop for our celebration; it's the place where we truly fell in love. It all began early in our relationship. After just one month of dating, Zach agreed to do something that, in hindsight, might have been a little crazy—he drove across the country with me to help me move to Idaho for my first clinical rotation. As part of our journey, we had to pass through Jackson Hole and over the Grand Tetons, so naturally, we decided to stop and stay for a couple of nights. Little did we know, this detour would turn into one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We instantly fell in love with the area. We drove the backroads through the Tetons, explored the breathtaking views, and spent a day in Yellowstone soaking in the beauty around us. The peacefulness of the mountains, the stillness of the valleys, and the pure grandeur of nature became the perfect backdrop for the growing bond between us. When we look back at the photos from that trip, we’re reminded of the moment when we truly fell in love—surrounded by the majesty of the Grand Tetons and the wild beauty of the land. We were just beginning our relationship, but we knew we had found something special. In those quiet moments, between the awe of nature and the joy of each other’s company, we realized how quickly our hearts had connected. The Lord’s creation surrounded us, and in that vast, beautiful space, we knew we had found something worth cherishing. Now, as we prepare to say "I do," we can’t think of a more fitting place to celebrate the love that was born in Jackson Hole. This place will always remind us of the start of our journey together—the adventure of falling in love and the beginning of a life we can’t wait to continue building. We are so excited to share this special place with all of you, and to make even more memories in the place that started it all. Below is a photo of the two of us taking in the breathtaking Grand Tetons after our 80+ hour road trip across the country. Just a few days later, we turned around, drove up to Yellowstone, and spent 13 hours exploring the two National Parks together. It’s no secret that we have a deep love for road trips—they’ve been such a special part of how we connected and grew closer, falling more in love with each other along the way. We’ll always cherish the advice our parents gave us: 'If you can survive a road trip across the country with someone, you're meant to be.' And here we are, stronger and more in love than ever.
