Taylor and Danny met working for the same company in February of 2021. On Taylor's first day, Danny brought in a 6-count box of Dunkin Donuts to welcome her to the team. They would interact briefly as co-workers over the next few months when one day in June, Taylor was having some IT issues with her laptop when the screen completely went black and the computer would not turn on. Taylor called Danny for help (and DEFINITELY made sure the computer was plugged in before having him drive to her office to fix the problem). After arriving, Danny worked to fix the problem. He determined that the laptop's charger did, in fact, come unplugged. Danny claims this was Taylor's way to talk to him as a friend, and not just a co-worker; Taylor swears it was a mistake. Shortly after, however, they went on their first date to Chipotle and the rest is history!

Taylor and Danny unofficially started dating right before the Fourth of July holiday weekend. They decided to make it "Facebook Official" in November later that year, after sharing a simple "I love you" during A Day to Remember's concert set in St Augustine.

Danny and Taylor planned a weekend vacation to Chicago, IL to see Taylor's favorite band, All Time Low, perform. While planning their trip, they decided to celebrate Danny's upcoming 28th birthday, as well as catch a concert for their favorite band, A Day to Remember. After a hectic day of travel, they made their way to the concert venue. During A Day to Remember's set they played their song "If It Means A Lot to You", one of Taylor and Danny's favorites, and Danny took the moment to ask "Will you marry me?"
