Our First Date

Our first date didn’t exactly go as planned. He forgot his wallet, it was already past my bedtime (7pm!), so instead of going out, we ordered Chinese food and watched The Ringer. Not exactly the classic dinner-and-a-movie, but it was perfectly us. Since then, we’ve laughed our way through countless moments like that, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Falling for Each Other (Literally)

Our love story began in the least glamorous way possible: drywall, wings, McDoubles, and beer. He came over to help, I made sure we were fed, and somewhere in the middle of it all, he put his foot right through the living room ceiling. In his defense, my dad had done the same in every house we’d lived in — and if we’re being honest, the person who did the subfloor (me) might be the real culprit. But instead of panic, we just laughed until we couldn’t breathe. That’s when I knew: if we can laugh through ceiling holes, drywall dust, and my questionable handiwork, we can laugh through life together.

Our Proposal Story

August 28th 2025

While tent camping in Maine, Daniel took me out for a special steakhouse dinner — and in the middle of the cozy, candlelit evening, he asked me to marry him. (Of course, I said yes!). To celebrate our very first “date” as an engaged couple, we stopped by a local ice cream shop that overlooked the mountains at sunset — the perfect ending to a perfect moment. When we got back to camp, we joined our friends for a wild game of trivia and ended the night cozied up by the fire, soaking in all the joy and excitement of our new beginning together.
