Painting with a Twist offers a place to have fun with friends, relax, and discover your inner artist. Guests are welcome to bring their favorite bottle of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, and paint along with the staff artist to create a work of art to take home at the end of the evening. All painting supplies and artist instructions are provided. No art experience is needed. Open classes or group parties are available.

Located in the city of Fenton, Dauner Martin Nature Sanctuary is the perfect getaway for those looking to conveniently get into the outdoors. The sanctuary offers nearly 4.5 miles of trails for visitors to experience its varied natural terrain. Much of the sanctuary consists of large pine groves interwoven among hardwood forests. The boardwalks installed throughout the trail system at Dauner Martin are for both the convenience of visitors and the protection of the habitat found within the sanctuary. As a nature preserve, Dauner-Martin has no restroom facilities, but there are benches and wooden boardwalks.

Genesee County Parks and Recreation managed, For-Mar is a 383-acre nature preserve and arboretum with 7-miles of hiking trails (jogging and biking permitted on gravel service drive only). Cross country skiing and snowshoeing is permitted when the ground is frozen with at least 3-inches of snow. For-Mar also offers an extensive collection of native flora and fauna of Michigan, a Memorial Garden, all-season nature hikes and is home to Nature's Superheroes, a barrier free Treehouse and a Butterfly House.
