We met in 2016, during the School of Transformation at the Fathers House Church, we started as acquaintances, then we became friends, neither of us thought we would end up where we are today. When did she noticed me? Well let me tell you, I could often be found on Lindsey's driveway detailing cars, and one hot evening she came out to bring me water and caught me praying outloud to Jesus, after that she often found herself on that same driveway "prentending" to take out the trash and eventually just blatantly coming out to see me, let's just say she was impressed. When did I notice her? Well there was many things but it all really clicked at a friends wedding, when I asked her to dance with me. Let's just say I was not being shy that day, I was practically chasing her around the whole time but then again she was chasing me too. Dancing with her that night was the most amazing feeling I've ever felt and then she asked me to dance with her and then I knew, this is the girl for me. Before we met Over 3,500 miles separated us, and Jesus somehow managed to bring us together. Since the day of that wedding I began to pursue Lindsey, and on March 27th 2021 I asked her to be my girlfriend. Since then we have celebrated birthdays, had the most amazing and memorable dates, romantic walks, deep talks, collections of rocks haha seriously we like to collect funny things. We are probably the only couple around that collects toys, like our wind up chicken "chicky" and our Squishy Penguin "squeezy" We have alot of fun together. This journey has not always been an easy one, we have had many challenges, life events and circumstances come our way and we have overcome many things to get to the place we are. During the Holidays of 2021 both are Dads died and that was a rocky time, but on this journey together we have been discovering ourselves, our weaknesses, our strengths and most importantly our need for each other and Jesus Christ. A funny fact about us: Me and Lindsey have an alter ego, an alias, known as Earl and Eleanor. Yes we are the funny, cheesy and carefree couple you will find running down the street. Eleanor is always trying to run away and Earl is always catching her. We are really excited about this new adventure called "Marriage" and incredibly honoured and humbled that we have been given each other to go on this journey. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get there especially Steve and Vicki our spiritual parents and Nolan and Katie our mentors. Along with everyone else in the Fathers House Church. We love you and cant wait to celebrate with you July 30th. See you there!
