The Kancamagus Highway runs through White Mountain National Forrest, from North Conway to Lincoln. With its many scenic stops along the way, we highly recommend at least the first half. Some of our favorite spots are: Albany Covered Bridge Sabbaday Falls Sugar Hill Overlook If you drive the entire Kanc to Lincoln, we recommend Pemi Public House or Woodstock Inn Brewery.
This train takes you through White Mountain National Forrest for some great views of fall foliage.

Don't want to drive up Mount Washington? The Cog has steam and biodiesel trains that take you to the summit! We highly recommend booking in advance.
This is our favorite spot to take Chowder! You'll need All-Wheel drive to get to the parking lot, then it's an easy 0.4 mile incline to the top. We highly recommend this spot for catching a great sunset and seeing fall foliage without breaking too much of sweat.

Another nearby golf course with great views of the mountains! We highly recommend booking in advance.
With spectacular views of the presidential range, this golf course is worth the drive!
This is mostly a tourist trap but it somehow feels authentic. Syrup, moose-themed everything, and souvenir galore. The only reason we still frequent this place is for the candy bar, you might even catch Morganne ordering all the strawberry ropes!
Right in the heart of downtown is one of our favorite places to eat. We love their food so much we asked them to cater our wedding! You will definitely need a reservation in advance for the weekend. Fun fact: Vito remembers the Pagano family from the restaurant's original location in Cranston, RI, where they were frequent fliers for meatball subs!
This pub has great American Fare and Sushi. Definitely sounds weird to get raw fish from a sports bar, but they have a separate sushi kitchen. Their crab crunch roll is the only crab Sara will eat!
Craving a good burger? This is your place.
Black Cap's nicer, matured-much-quicker, younger sister. Mussels are a must here!
This is our most frequented local brewery, check out their event page to see what's happening this weekend!
The original Saco River Brewing is in Fryeburg, Maine, however this newer and larger second location offers a rooftop overlooking Conway Scenic Railway and pizza! Right in the heart of downtown, we highly recommend stopping in and trying Morganne's favorite beer, the Clearwater Pale Ale.
This craft cocktail bar opened this past Spring, offering both delicious cocktails and a small plate menu.
We were very close to getting married here! Definitely worth the 20 minute drive up to Jackson.
Amazing porch view of the mountains, and best homemade cakes in town! We love their steak & cheese egg rolls, and definitely get a slice of cake to go.
Best bagel sandwiches in town for quick take out, not as good as Jersey bagels of course, but they hit the spot! Their famous "Kweenies" are a sweet breakfast pastry that Morganne loves! We recommend this spot if you're on the go and not looking to dine-in.
Sitting down for light breakfast or coffee? Their homemade biscuit sandwiches are the best! This spot is right in the heart of downtown with both indoor and outdoor seating. Sara recommends the Watermelon Hibiscus Iced Tea!
Located right over the border in Fryeburg Maine, this old bank turned into a modern day coffee shop.
