Cameron and Amber met through a mutual friend the summer after graduating high school. They exchanged phone numbers and planned to meet up when Amber moved to Reno to start college so Cameron could show her the best places to eat and the hidden gems Reno had to offer. This was the start of a great friendship. Once school started, their schedules became busier and time spent together dwindled to a few texts a week. Fortunately, after Amber finished her first semester of college, they reconnected over the winter break having dinners and watching movies and became inseparable. A shared kiss on Cameron's birthday sealed the deal. Fast forward to August 2019, Cameron planned a trip for them to the Northern California coast to spend a long weekend away together before he started graduate school. On the third day of their trip, Cameron suggested they visit a scenic trail that overlooked the Klamath River merging with the Pacific Ocean. As Amber looked down at the breathtaking view below, Cameron pulled a ring from his pocket, got down on one knee and right then and there asked her to be his wife. After 10 years together, their love for one another has continued to grow from two kids without a clue to two people building a beautiful life together. They've shared travel adventures, three dogs and unending support and successes together in personal growth, education milestones and professional achievements. Now they are excitedly awaiting the day they say 'yes' to a lifetime together in the presence of their closest family and friends!
