I have known Gigi my entire life since I was brought into the lovely Hellmer family. She was always my “cool older cousin” and we both helped defend each other from our brothers growing up. We have been on countless family vacations, concerts, road trips and holidays together. Fun fact: Kaylee can out (awkward) dance anyone at the reception via flossing and the worm.

I met Justine fresh out of the womb. I’m assuming she held me lovingly and was excited because there was another girl in the family (we’re cousins). We grew up together playing in our grandmother's house, imagining our wedding days and playing dress up. We've seen each other grow up and have stuck by each other through it all. Being in her wedding is a surreal experience! Fun fact: I have seen every episode of Friends 7 times. by the time you're reading this, it will probably be 10.

Gigi and I met through our sorority when we were in the same pledge class back in fall 2013. Gigi and I served as officers together and became super close as she was someone that I could rely on for anything. We were also in the same friend group and loved the same fraternities at the same time. Gigi will always be my favorite date for KA formals, middle of the day trips to Sidetracks and AGR after hours!

“I knew the bride when she used to rock and roll”. But line dance is more like it. Gigi and I met at SIU and are in the same sorority. We became friends when we were building a float for the homecoming parade with one of our favorite fraternities. Gigi and I bonded over our love for all things country and beer & chicken. She has been the YEE to my YEE since 2015! Fun fact: Gigi and I could win any karaoke contest, hands down.

I have known DJ many years, but I met Gigi Memorial Day weekend 2 years ago. After seeing her and Dwaine together for less than an hour I knew she was the one he would spend the rest of his life with. The love they have for one another is what most people dream about. I am so happy that they asked me to be a part of their special day. Fun fact: Mine and John’s (groomsman) little girl is Gigi and Dwaine’s God daughter and the cutest flower girl you will ever see!!

So we spent 5 days driving around working together, he was the strangest guy I’d met, he told me before the end of the week we’d be best friends and at each other’s weddings. He wasn’t wrong.

I first met Dwaine when we started selling cars together almost 6 years ago. I didn’t really like Dwaine and thought he was a douche. Then as I started to get to know him, he ended up still being a douche. But, as we started hanging out and going places, I learned he is a genuine person and just wants best for the people in his life. All in all, I'm glad Dwaine is in my life along with Gigi. They are great people and always will have their friends backs when the time comes. We also are pretty good at drinking to much and being loud. Of course.

The first time I met Dwaine was on our back porch when I was in high school. My sister asked me to come outside and meet him. As soon as I got out there I was tryna hammer him with questions and act all tough because I thought it’d be fun. Being the cunning salesman that Dwaine is, he never stumbled over any of the questions. I really couldn’t stump him! From then on I was always happy to see Dwaine, and always enjoyed hanging out with him. I always like having a beer with Dwaine whether it be at the 4am bar, over holidays, or getting hammered at Lauren and Brian’s wedding together. I’ve never seen a guy make my sister as happy as dwaine makes her, and I can tell that what they have is something that’s gonna last a lifetime. I’m excited to very soon call him my brother.
