Welcome to our wedding website!

In August of 2017, Jeff and Alyssa both swiped right on Tinder. After weeks of talking through text, Alyssa finally decided to put her nerves aside and meet Jeff in person for some drinks. Jeff and Alyssa ended up talking for hours that night. They also took a nice stroll along the Lakeshore path in Chicago. After that first date, they both knew they wanted to see each other again. Jeff and Alyssa went on many more dates after that and decided to make their relationship official (boyfriend and girlfriend) on October 16, 2017. In April of 2018, Jeff and Alyssa moved into their first apartment together in Chicago!

On June 14, 2019, Jeff popped the question! Jeff and Alyssa went out for dinner at their favorite Mexican restaurant, and then took a nice stoll along the Lakeshore path in Chicago, the same place they walked along on their first date. There was a pier with a lighthouse that Jeff wanted to walk onto. It was very windy that day, so the pier was very wet. Jeff had a lot of convincing to do to get Alyssa onto that pier. Once she was on, she was facing the city skyline trying to get a cool picture on her phone. She was standing right on the edge of the pier. She felt Jeff "pushing" her back and started to get frustrated because she felt like she was going to fall into the water. She turned around while saying "why are you trying to push me in?!" As she turned around, Jeff was on one knee! To clarify, he was not "pushing" her back, he was "tapping" her back to get her attention (but it felt more like a push to her). Alyssa was totally surprised! Of course she said "yes"! It was a very memorable moment for the both of them.

On October 10, 2020, Jeff and Alyssa officially tied the knot! They had a small ceremony at St. Victoria Catholic Church and celebrated with a small group of people after (due to COVID). Jeff and Alyssa are very excited to FINALLY be able to celebrate with all of their family and friends this year!
