We met on the front porch of Mike Jennings, the bride’s brother. I was stopping by to see my brother and noticed Maurice sitting on the porch. I wasted no time asking questions and making myself known, being too grown. We exchanged Facebook information, and within a week we were on our first date hiking, enjoying the outdoors.

One thing about us we are not traditional, to say the least. We were actually out shopping at Carolina Place Mall when we decided to check out some jewelry. We started browsing watches and ended up near the engagement rings. I noticed a ring, my soon-to-be ring, and asked the attendant about the sizing & pricing. Next thing I know Maurice was pulling out his debit card lol. Hence the way we ended up engaged! We are beyond excited to share our union with you all!!! See you in September!!
