Vanesa Castillo

Maid of Honor

Vanesa and I met freshman year of high school and quickly became the bestest friends. It's fair to say we've been inseparable since, navigating through high school, college and even adulthood together. I can honestly say I couldn't have survived without my partner in crime. Growing up we were always asked if we were twins because we acted so alike and some say we even look alike, well we always said yes as a joke but truthfully she really is. She is a plus sister God put into my life because he knew only two biological sisters wasn't enough to handle me. Vanesa really is the most beautiful and caring soul, I’m truly so blessed to have her in my life. And to no surprise, all along I had no doubt that Vanesa would be my maid of honor because like everything else, I couldn’t do this without her by my side.

Gustavo Macias

Best Man

Gustavo and I go way back, he was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Texas. Our friendship was in for the long run as we grew up going to school together, playing soccer together, we even did church school together. When adulthood came along and life got busy we always knew a cold beer and a good conversation was awaiting for us, we always picked up right where we left off. Gustavo isn’t just a friend, he’s family, a brotherhood that not everyone gets to experience and I’m thankful for it. And well, if by now it's not clear onto why I chose Tavo to be my best man I’ll say this, I know if I ever go to jail I can call him to bail me out.

Lorena Enriquez

Something blue

Lorena is my oldest sister, also my complete opposite (for visual reference please refer to our height)! Lory is my emergency contact, she could honestly even be my body guard because those who know her, know how protective she is over her loved ones. When I talk about Lory I always say she is my best friend. Despite our very different personalities and living hours away from one another, we have such a special bond. One that could never be broken. Lory doesn’t know it but I will always look up to her for the loving, caring and compassionate person that she is. While I may not always admit it I give her credit for the women that I am, because through every milestone Lory always stood by my side cheering me on and even guiding me through when I needed it. Being the oldest sister is not for everyone but it’s exactly what’s Lory was meant to be, the best queen bee.

Aimee Enriquez

Something blue

Aimee, my older sister. Also my forced bestfriend and occasionally, more recently my free therapist. She’s also the person I can always count on to be supportive of whatever crazy idea I may have, and when I need a reminder she tells me I’m capable of doing anything I want. She’s a woman of many talents like building a whole house, fixing your roof, decorating for any event, being late for everything, cooking the best food and her specialty, getting people drunk with her “shot, shot, shot”. Aimee doesn’t really care for a special role in our wedding. She might even show up late because “she has a roof to do” but I couldn’t say I do without her being my something blue.

Nathalie Garcia

Something blue

Nathalie is my adopted sister. Just kidding! Nathalie and I have always had a very special sibling relationship. That obviously includes her annoying me most of the time; But I guess being her big brother and watching her go from a baby to a young woman was kind of nice. Although, we may sometimes get on each other’s nerves she knows she can always count on me for anything. I'm always going to be just a phone call away, at any time of the day (try not to call me past 9pm though). But that's all besides the point, I wanted her to have a special role in our wedding as she always has and always will have a very special role in my life. I love you little sis.

Marco Garcia

Honor Attendant

Marco is my younger brother, growing up we weren’t ever really close. Marco is the type to be very friendly but kept to himself, he’s the “chill” one… until he gets to “el chingon”. When I moved out, Marco was the happiest because he finally would have his own space. While he was right we both quickly realized we were closer than we thought. Although he might not admit it, his frequent texts proved he missed me and well so did I. As we get older our bond continues to grow, I don’t tell him often but I’m very proud of the man he has become. Marco will always be my little brother who knows he’ll always have his big brother to count on.
