Gaëlle and Randy have known each other for a long time now, but how they actually first met will forever remain a mystery. From stories told by their parents and friends, they have often been to the same baptisms, first communions, birthday parties and other events growing up. In retrospect, bad timing at the crossroads of missed opportunities seemed to have been the perfect ingredients for the corniest of love stories. In college, rumor has it that Randy “shot his shot” as the younger generation says, inviting Gaëlle to one of his Fall Military Balls. She politely declined setting their ships on different courses that grew wider in distance. Between their college days in North Carolina and Florida, the kick-off of their professional careers in France and Haïti and the soul searchings in Costa Rica and Japan, their story together was the fruit of the wildest of imaginations as it remained unlikely. At the climax of his tour in Japan, Randy organized a trip to Cuba with some of his closest friends. Haphazardly checking in, Gaëlle and Randy exchanged their summer plans and agreed to meet in the land of rum, rumba and revolution! It was under the Castro stars, on the canvas between the salsa hips and the mojito smiles that these two finally forged an inseparable bond, staging a life of constant adventures and contagious happiness.

Together, they’ve so far explored over eighty countries, creating memories, inspiring and bringing people together on their journey to see the world. While they’ve embraced many cultures, no place on Earth has rivaled their love for Haiti. Their vision has always been to celebrate their union surrounded by the many friends and families who have significantly impacted their lives. Thus, this December 21st 2019, Randy and Gaëlle are inviting you to their Cocra getaway in Cap-Haïtien to be their honored guest as they add another wrinkle to the timeline of their love song.
