What's with the lodging at River Mountain?

Answer

We’re excited to welcome guests to stay on-site at River Mountain from Friday through Sunday to join in the full weekend of wedding festivities! While lodging must be reserved by guests using the link below, we will take care of assigning accommodations across the property. River Mountain offers a range of accommodations—including multi-person cabins, yurts, and tents—scattered across 150 beautiful acres. The rate is $152 per person and includes two nights of lodging and meals. While we’ve also included a few off-property hotel options for those who prefer, we highly encourage you to stay with us and be part of the fun all weekend long! ⛰️ The venue does not offer a one-night option on the reservation page. However, guests are welcome to reserve accommodations for both nights and choose to stay for just one, if that better suits their plans. What should I wear?

Answer

For wedding day, think semi-dressy, part-casual. Sundresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts, and slacks are perfect. We'll be outside, so choose shoes you can walk in comfortably. Block or platform heels are recommended for our heel-wearers! No Crocs (Steve 😉)... We encourage guests to wear autumn-inspired colors; warm tones like rust, gold, olive, navy, or other autumnal jewel tones.

What is Friday's schedule?

Our ceremony rehearsal and rehearsal dinner will take place in the early evening, and are private for our wedding party and immediate family. If you're arriving to River Mountain on Friday, feel free to check-in anytime after 3 PM, unwind, and join us later in the evening for our Welcome Bonfire! Or, if you're already amped up for our wedding weekend, lace up your walking shoes and hit one of our gorgeous Downtown/Main Street areas just a short drive away. What does Saturday look like?

For guests staying on-property, Saturday morning is a "Choose Your Own Adventure" day! Explore the trails and beautiful scenery of our incredible 150-acre wedding venue, enjoy a continental breakfast on-site, or drive into town for a coffee and walk around our favorite downtowns. Be back on-property to get ready and party! Our ceremony will begin at the Meadow at 4:30 PM. A cocktail hour will follow at 5:00 PM, then followed by our reception in the Barn. Bring your dancing shoes!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend is an adults-only celebration. Due to the nature of the property and flow of weekend events, we kindly ask that all guests be 21 or older. We hope this weekend feels like a little retreat for you too. Thank you for understanding!
