Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we LOVE your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only 21 and over event. Unless your children are listed on the invite and RSVP, please use this as a date night. We hope that you will see this as an opportunity to have a night for yourselves and enjoy the party with us!

Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation and under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Should I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

Beer and wine will be provided and there will be liquor available for purchase. To align with our venue rules, we ask that you do not bring any outside alcohol to our venue. The Bride and Groom will be charged $600 if any guest is seen with their own alcohol at Ashton Hill.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day, but there is no dress code so please come as you are. We will have the ceremony outside (weather permitting) and the reception inside, so please plan accordingly with the weather.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Ashton Hill Farm in Cedar Rapids, IA. There is a parking lot as well as street parking for guests. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside. If this can not happen for some reason, we will move inside the reception hall for the ceremony.
