Question

I booked my room at the Francis Marion Hotel, where do I park?

Answer

Upon arrival, please park in the valet lane on King Street and the bellmen will unload your vehicle as you proceed to check in. There are two options available for parking; Self-Parking or Valet. Self-parking is available at $28 per night in the city-owned Marion Square Garage next door to the hotel. The A key is provided at check-in. Valet is $38 (tax not included) per night. Both options are billed directly to your guest room, are available at any time on day of arrival, include unlimited in and out privileges, and are good until 11:59 PM day of departure.

I'm not staying at the Francis Marion Hotel, where do I park?

Answer

If you are not staying at the Francis Marion Hotel, we recommend using an Uber/Lyft. However, the Marion Square Garage next to the hotel is available for parking at $2.00 per hour or $18 daily max. Metered street parking is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Does Francis Marion Hotel Offer Airport Shuttle Service?

Answer

No, Francis Marion Hotel does not offer a shuttle service to and from the airport. However, they recommend Mitch's Transportation if you would like to schedule a service vs. using Uber/Lyft/Taxi services. If you are interested in scheduling Mitch's Transportation please call 843-303-8090. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft/Taxis are available to take you to and from the airport.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue no later than 4:30PM as this will give you ample time to find the Colonial Ballroom and your seat!

What type of weather can be expected?

Answer

Charleston weather for January can be a low of 30 degrees and high of 59 degrees or a low of 59 degrees and high of 77 degrees. (Welcome to winter in the low country). Thankfully, the wedding day events will be held inside so weather is not an issue but please be sure to check the weather for that weekend so you may pack accordingly; as you can see South Carolina is consistently inconsistent when it comes to the temperature this time of year.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please note any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions on the response card and we will arrange them with the hotel.
