Shop, eat, walk through the gardens or on the trails, and even take a tour of the Reynolda House. It was named one of Southern Living's "Top 25 Best Places to Go in The South in 2025."
We walked the full 7 miles on Fourth of July 2024, but it's great for shorter walks and runs too!
Dallas singlehandedly keeps them in business. He recommends the ultimate bacon biscuit. Maggie has been getting the sausage and egg biscuit. You really can't go wrong...enjoy!
Great spot for brunch, but make sure you get there early! Or put your name on the list and walk around downtown for a bit. It was just named the best brunch spot in North Carolina by Yelp.

Dogwood Hops & Crops is a beer and wine bar, and The Trophy Room is a bourbon bar. According to Dallas they make the best old fashioned in the city. The bars are connected, so you can take your drink to the other bar, so everyone can get what they want! It's less than a mile from the reception venue and open until 1am.
