Jasmin moved to San Jose in 2018 shortly after graduating Cal State LA for her first big girl job. At the same time, Jason moved back to San Francisco after graduating from Chico State. Coincidently, they both took the same job offer, field engineers for a dam project in Sunol, CA. Although Jason worked for a different company, they both worked for the same project. The project was majorly staffed from people out of Southern California or out of state, forcing many young engineers to make new friends. Jason often organized get togethers after work and low and behold, Jasmin and other regulars (shout out to the Calaveras crew) were consistently hanging out. As many people know, Jason and Jasmin are very lively and outgoing type of people. It took no time for them both to begin gravitating towards each other. In December of 2018, Jason invited Jasmin to his birthday party and shot his shot. Their first date was at the sand dunes in Santa Cruz and multiple dates followed. He asked her to be his girlfriend on March 16th, 2019, on top of Coit Tower in SF. She said yes! What bad timing though, as Jason was relocated to SoCal in April. They continued to do "long distance" until Jasmin was relocated SIX months later. They moved in together and rented their first place in downtown Long Beach the second she moved down. The following years were filled with.. well life. Traveling, buying a house, adopting two cats (Sebastian and Stella), surviving a pandemic, etc.. In May of 2024, Jason got on one knee in the Philippines and asked her to marry him... and again, she said YES! And here we are today, in the midst of wedding planning, anxiously waiting to celebrate our love with all of you. See you all in May of 2026!
