We're getting married!

I walked into Cabela's after a long day of moving to say hello to former co-workers. I was gross, sweaty, and absolutely no makeup on. One of the guys decided to call me out and introduced me to Brandon, while he was working! I was intensely embarrassed! The same guy told Brandon I wanted his number, which was partially true, BUT HERE WE ARE 6 YEARS LATER! Our first date, we decided to go on a hike at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and we talked nonstop about our families, our likes and dislikes, a love for our fur babies, and if you know Brandon, he gave me all the history facts about the Battle at Kennesaw Mountain, The Civil War, and so much more. I was astonished with how knowledgeable and incredibly smart he was. Then 2 months later, while we were on our first vacation together Hayesville, North Carolina, we decided to make it official. Since then, we have shared each others hobbies, traveled to different countries, laughed at the same movies, and grieved over the loved ones we've lost. Fast forward to 2025, in January, after our cruise we decided to go to Disney World, where Brandon got down one knee and asked to marry me. COMPLETE SURPRISE! I truly had no idea that was going to happen. He had everyone in on the surprise from parents, my best friend, and even the beautiful cast members that took our pictures! Brandon knows that Disney is such special place for me and for him to make that happen is an overall blessing and I'm beyond a lucky girl. Shortly after, we decided to make a very adult like decision and purchase our first home! Everyday is a new adventure, a new experience, and an absolute joy to be so in love. The memories we share, and continue to make will last with us forever. 10/24/2026 is going to be our new special date we get to look forever to for many years to come.
