Kevin and I met on a hot summer night in July of 2015 at the Earth, Wind, and Fire concert. My friend, Katie, was dating Kevin's roommate, Justin, at the time. Katie invited my best friend Megan and me to meet up with her and meet the infamous Baylor Bear crew. I remember thinking to myself, 'There is no way I am becoming friends with all these Baylor people. I have to stay loyal to my Frogs!'. Low and behold, Kevin and I hit it off in conversation. After a few drinks and dancing to the song "September" together, Kevin and I exchanged numbers. And as they say, the rest is history!

It was the weekend of the TCU vs Baylor football game. I thought we were going to a hibachi night to celebrate our friend's birthday. Kev told me he wanted to go to happy hour before dinner. Little did I know, Kevin had everything planned to a T. Clueless as I was, he drove us to the rooftop bar of the Hilton Canopy in Uptown Dallas, the complete opposite direction of where our "hibachi dinner" was supposed to be. He walked me over the balcony, where I noticed the most beautiful arrangement of roses, and he got down on one knee! Both of our families came out from hiding around the corner. If proposing and having our families there wasn't already the biggest surprise, Kev surprised me with our best friends from all over! The next day, everyone gathered to watch the TCU vs Baylor game. To conclude one of the best weekends of my life, TCU won the game! GO FROGS!
