We met at Coosh's, a very special place, where fate (and football) brought us together during the 2023 ACC Championship game, Florida State vs. Louisville. I (Emma) was an FSU student, proudly cheering on the Noles, when he, a lifelong Gator fan, made a comment saying something in favor of Louisville. I spun around and said, "What did you just say? Do you know where you are right now?" I don't think he knew what he was signing up for, but one playful banter turned into hours of talking, which turned into countless days of laughter, adventures and falling in love. We haven't stopped talking since, and we never plan to.

When Josh first asked me to be his girlfriend, he took me to a quiet little rose garden with a dock overlooking a lake. There, he asked me to be his, then prayed over us and our relationship, trusting God with our future together. When it came time for the proposal, he brought me back to that very same rose garden. We walked down to the same dock, and there, where it all began, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. The place that started our story became the place that starts our forever. God is so, so faithful!
