It all began in 2018 at the University of Kentucky, where we first met as teammates on the track and cross-country team. What started as training together quickly turned into an inseparable friendship. That fall, fate (and a little Halloween makeup) brought us even closer, and by November, we officially started dating. From exploring Lexington to endless Game of Thrones marathons and deep dives into true crime documentaries, our early days were filled with adventure and laughter. In 2020, after Caitlin's graduation, life took us in different directions, leading to a few years of long distance. Though miles apart, we never stopped supporting each other. Then in 2023, everything fell into place—Patrick moved to Charlotte, and we were finally back in the same city, ready to start our next chapter together. Then, on a beautiful snowy day in Asheville, at the stunning Biltmore Estate, surrounded by our families, Patrick got down on one knee and asked the easiest question ever—and of course, I said yes! Now, we can’t wait to start this next adventure together and celebrate with all of you!
