Dude! We’re getting married!

It's your classic love story. Boy swipes right, Girl swipes right, we are a match! Haha! We met on an online dating website. Our first date was at World of Beer at Easton Town Center, where we shared a few beers and John talked the night away while I apparently only answered his questions but did not reciprocate with questions of my own. What can I say, I'm shy. John was not going to ask me out on a second date until I texted him a few days later. He gave me a second chance and that was all it took, he was hooked ;) And so was I <3

We had plans with a group of friends to rent a pontoon boat and cruise around on Alum Creek. They were all in on it! I, on the other hand, had NO clue. We found a place to stop on the lake to relax and enjoy some rays. I was hanging out on the back of the boat when John walked over and asked me to stand up near him. I was totally fine hanging out where I was so I politely declined, haha. He finally gave up and got down on one knee. That's when I saw the little red box. I responded by saying, "What are you doing?!!!" That's when I noticed all of my friends staring at me with large smiles on their faces. I asked, "did you know about this?" Neither John nor I remember quite what he said to me, but I remember the sound of his voice, the tears in his eyes, exactly how I felt and that he ended with "so dude, do you want to get married?" I quickly said "YES" and jumped into his arms! My friends started popping bottles of champagne, screaming "she said YES", while surrounding boats were cheering and blowing horns in celebration!! It was a complete SURPRISE! A very special thank you to our friends for making this day perfect!!
