11 years ago Mitch and I met at Cains Ballroom for a Tech N9ne concert ( I know, we have great taste). Although we attended the same high school, we never actually met before. After about a year of friendship, Mitch decided to ask me to a date party (Shoutout to David and Diego for setting that up) and the rest is history! Throughout our 8 years of dating we have become pet parents to Velveeta, Brody and Calvin, moved to West Texas, traveled and seen hundreds of movies. We are so excited to get to celebrate our love with all of our friends and family from different walks of life in the city that we met. October 23rd can't come soon enough!

For my 27th birthday I told Mitch all I wanted were oysters. If you know me you know that anything seafood is my favorite food group. So Mitch planned a trip to go to Santa Rosa Beach with some of our favorite people. That morning after a few dozen oysters and some pool time we decided to clean up and go to dinner. We had a big group so we went in a few cars and when Mitch and I arrived our table wasn't ready so the hostess told us to go to the beach where our friends were waiting. We were walking down the stairs and my friend Emily had mentioned taking some pictures because we always forget. Mitch and I went first and as we were smiling he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! After I collected myself, I said Yes!! Mitch made this moment so special and this will definitely be a day I never forget!
