One of our favorite coffee shops in the Northern Virginia area!
National Harbor is an amazing area to go see the Potomac River but not be in D.C. itself! There are lots of fun restaurants, shops, and historical sights.
Harpers Ferry is a great place to do some sightseeing! Located in West Virginia, but only forty minutes from the wedding venue, this would make for a great day trip! Lots of beautiful sights and good eats along the way.
The National Mall encompasses a majority of the main memorials, parks, and museums within Washington, D.C. If you're looking for historical and tourist must-sees in D.C., we highly recommend just taking a day to walk along the mall and stopping in wherever you're interested! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!
One of our all-time favorite museums! Costs money to get in, but is worth every penny!! It is amazing to see the vast array of displays all throughout.
Riley's hometown, where we went for our first date after homecoming, and where we got engaged!!! Old town Clifton holds a special place in our hearts, and we hope you all can form memories there as well! One of our favorite spots in downtown is Peterson's Ice Cream :)
George Washington's mansion and estate! By far one of the coolest and most entertaining places to visit in the Northern Virginia area and GREAT for both kids and adults!
The town we're getting married in!! Leesburg has a fun downtown area with lots of cute little shops and food options! A few of our favorite recommendations are Lucketts Store for antiquing and shopping, Catty Corner Cafe for kittens and coffee, Gruto's Soft Serve for ice cream, and lots of little restaurants along the way!
Georgetown is a cute little town within D.C., great for shopping and small cafes and restaurants!
