One year into the pandemic, Dani walked into Kuma’s Corner - Chicago for an interview with her friend Jordan and Chris, the general manager. What she didn’t know at the time was that this interview would change her life in ways she never expected. She got the job, and as she settled into her new role, she found herself frequently scheduled with Chris. The entire team was close, spending time together after work, and through those gatherings, Dani and Chris got to know each other better. Chris eventually asked Dani out, but she declined—she had never dated a co-worker before. Still, their friendship grew, and as they continued to spend time together, Dani realized how much she truly cared for Chris. She decided to take a chance, and from that moment on, their relationship flourished. Together, they explored new cities, shared incredible meals, and enjoyed some of the best craft beers around. Their love for adventure often led them on short trips to Wisconsin, where they indulged in great cheese, played pool, and visited breweries. Over time, their bond only deepened, and after a few years, Chris asked Dani to move in with him in Evanston. In June, she packed up and made their home together official. Then, on a perfect day trip to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Chris surprised Dani with a proposal. She said yes, and now, here we are, ready to celebrate this next chapter with all of you! We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our big day!
