Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

While the ceremony officially starts at 3:30 p.m., we are asking all guests to arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to find parking, pick a seat, & get settled in before the proceedings. We would appreciate this generous favor to help minimize the number of disruptions that could occur during the ceremony. We understand that life happens & in the unfortunate event that you do show up late & the ceremony has already begun, we kindly ask that you do not proceed to find your way to a seat; but do please join for cocktail hour & enjoy the rest of the evening with us!

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We are so very sorry, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate additional guests or children due to space restrictions at our venue. We can only allow the people named on your invitation. All members of your party will appear in the RSVP tab as well. We hope you understand & can still join us on our special day.

How & when should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab on our website & type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "will attend" or "will not attend". Please RSVP before September 7, 2024. Be sure to mark your meal preference when you RSVP! All RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining; we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or dressy casual with neutral or pastel colors preferably! We want everyone to be as comfortable as possible so no need to bust out the tuxedos, ball gowns, or stilettoes. But do please wear semi-formal or dressy casual attire. We are also wanting to keep the guest colors as neutral or pastel as possible. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or champagne tones. Thank you!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the wedding venue located on the left side of The Mansion but it is very limited. The parking lot fits 20-25 cars according to the venue owner. If possible, car pool with someone else to limit the number of cars parked at the venue. Parking spots nearest the entrance of the venue will be reserved for the wedding party, vendors, & parents/grandparents of the bride & groom. We are anticipating the venue's parking lot will fill up very quickly. In this instance, you can park in the Southeastern Bank's parking lot across the street. If you need to park in the bank's parking lot, there is a cross walk roughly 300 feet away if you are a law abiding citizen. But, to ensure the best parking, come early!

Do you have a honeymoon fund or wedding registry?

Answer

We are overjoyed to have you celebrate with us on our big wedding day. As we are blessed with more belongings than we need, we would be honored if you would consider contributing to a memorable honeymoon. There is a link under the 'registry' tab or there will be a QR code & donation box at the venue if you would wish to contribute to our honeymoon. For those who are not comfortable donating to a honeymoon fund but would like to purchase a gift, we have created a small wedding registry through Amazon which is linked under the 'registry' tab as well. If you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a table for your convenience. We cannot thank you enough & we are so grateful to have such supportive friends & family.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love to have an "unplugged ceremony". Please turn off all devices before the ceremony & be present in the moment with us! We have two professional photographers & a videographer attending that will be capturing the moment for us all. All photos & videos will be posted & sent out as soon as we get them back for everyone to view & save.

How will seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please; however, please allow for immediate family to have the first two rows on either side. For the reception, we have carefully arranged tables so our guests are sat with those they know. The seating chart will be right outside the reception doors!

Who do I contact the day of the wedding for questions or concerns?

Answer

Anybody other than the bride or groom, please. Everyone attending the wedding knows someone else that is attending. Please reach out to anyone else you know for questions or concerns to see if they might be able to assist you. If it's before the wedding day, absolutely reach out to the bride & groom for questions & concerns, though!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside with little shade. Make sure to check the weather conditions leading up to the event! Cocktail hour will be held wherever you want to hang out, with the exception of the inside of The Mansion house. The reception building will be open at this time for guests. Take this time to find your seat, mingle, have some appetizers, grab a drink, or play some yard games!

What food will be served at cocktail hour & dinner?

Answer

Authentic italian cuisine from Fruit Cove's Bella Vista! Cocktail hour will include caprese (sliced fresh mozzarella, tomato, & basil) as well as antipasto all'Italiana (Italian charcuterie board with fresh meats & cheeses imported straight from Italy). The entrees you can choose from include, cacio e pepe with NO protein (fettuccine in a creamy sauce with black pepper, hand tossed right in front of you in a cheese wheel imported from Italy), chicken parmigiana (breaded chicken topped with homemade marinara, mozzarella, and parmigiana), salmon oreganata (salmon in a white wine lemon sauce topped with breadcrumbs), & rigatoni bolognese (rigatoni made with homemade bolognese sauce & fresh herbs). Chicken parmigiana & salmon oreganata will be served with a side of roasted potatoes & mixed veggies. You can choose one of these four entrees when you RSVP. PLEASE stick to what you order on the wedding day. Thank you so kindly! Lastly, let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies; we will do our best to accommodate you!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Hell yeah! Beer, seltzers, & wine only. We will also have water, lemonade, sweet tea, & select soft drinks. If you are planning on drinking please plan for a safe way to get home (carpooling, Uber, Lyft). We want everyone to make it home safely!
