Victoria and Christopher met in 2017 at the University of Delaware, where they both attended college. They were introduced to each other through a mutual friend that was in the same fraternity as Chris.

The morning of June 22, 2024, Christopher asked Victoria to take an early morning bike ride at Brigantine Beach, something they regularly do during summers at the shore. Halfway through their bike ride, Chris asked Victoria to get off their bikes and walk onto the beach. This is when Victoria started to realize what was happening. He led her onto the beach where there was a heart in the sand. In the middle of the heart, Chris got down on one knee and asked Victoria to marry him. Of course, she said yes!
