Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Black Tie Optional Women should wear a floor-length gown or a dressy pantsuit. Men traditionally wear a black suit or tuxedo. A bow tie is traditional, but optional. In lieu of a black suit, another dark colored formal suit may be worn. Please avoid wearing all white or jeans.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us on our big day. Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only named guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at NorthRiver Yacht Club between 4:00pm and 4:30pm to allow ample time for parking and finding your seats before the procession begins promptly at 4:30pm.

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during our wedding ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like! We'd love to see them.

For all the days along the way
