We’re Getting Married!

We met in the magical land of online dating, where it all started with a dad joke and is ending with a wedding! Everything that happened in between was nothing short of perfect and we would love to share a little more of our story with our loved ones. Our first date was at a Mediterranean restaurant called Amel’s. This was the start of a lot of dates where we lost track of time. As we shared our history, favorite things, and more jokes, we ended up closing out the restaurant after sitting and talking for nearly five hours. When we walked out to our cars, we stood and talked for another twenty minutes in freezing weather, not wanting to say goodnight. We often reminisce on that night and agree that it didn’t feel like falling at all; it felt like finding home. After that first date, there were countless laughs, car karaoke sessions, coffee shop visits, movie marathons, and adventures. No matter what curveballs or unexpected obstacles came our way, we were happy to go through it together. On May 25, 2025 we got engaged in Ligonier on Katlyn’s parents’ patio, a place that holds so much love and meaning to the family, as it was originally a small cottage built by her great grandfather. As we look back on our story, we cannot wait to see what this next chapter will bring!
