We met at college and started out as just friends, connecting pretty quickly. It was never something we planned or expected—love truly caught us by surprise. What began as a simple friendship slowly turned into something deeper, and before we even realized it, we had become inseparable. After college, we navigated long distance for a couple of years, holding onto what we had through every mile and moment apart. Eventually, life brought us to Davenport, Iowa, where we built a life together with our biggest love, Lucy.
