If you are looking for a more scenic route... sit and relax on an ItaliaRail train for a couple hours. They have trains running from all major cities to Lecce if you feel more comfortable only flying into Rome or Naples instead of taking a connecting flight!

We highly recommend renting a car to travel all around Puglia while you are here. Better yet- they drive on the same side of the road, they just drive REALLY fast. All you need to do is make sure you get your international driving license from any AAA store in the US. Keep in mind, if you rent a car, make sure your hotel comes. with parking. If. not there is a parking deck called "Parkejoo."
